The Baylor squad, still in the running for a bowl bid, will be invading Lincoln for the second time. They roared into Capitol City back in 1939 and were "skinned" 20-0 by a razor sharp Nebraska eleven. Husker football fans will get a chance to see two of the Southwest Conference's most highly regarded All-America candidates in tomor row's Parent's Day battle. One of the pair, Bill Glass, giant Baylor guard, will make many of the All-America teams on his consist ent great play. Left Halfback Del Shofner is remembered by Mid west fans for his track work last spring. Shofner, the team's leading scor er, is a very versatile ball player. He gave up his chance for All America honors by agreeing to al ternate between halfback and end. Quarterback Doyle Traylor, who has been injured durmg most of his football career, is fully recov ered and will be ready to go against the Huskers. An excellent ball handler and accurate passer, Traylor has been very successful at directing the Bear s offense, Pete Elliott has announced that there will be no chanegs in the starting lineup when the Huskers take the field against their inter sectional foes. The same backfield combination of Harshman, Greenlaw, Nappi and Jerry Brown will be carrying the leather for the Big Red.
