host I-SUte Cyclones. The Nebraskans bowed to the Buffs earlier in
a quadrangular meet at Norman, Oklahoma and lost to the Cvclonea
oa the indoor boards.
Siown here are two of the Husker hopefuls in the encounter. Boh
Niemann and Charles Gibson. Niemann will be entered in the 440-yard
dash and the mile relay. Gibson will run the 100 and 220-yard dashes

for a two-day affair with the
Oklahoma Sooners.
Also on tap for Saturday is a
triangular track meet with Iowa
State and Colorado at Ames, Iowa. !
The Husker golfers, fresh from
a win over Iowa State will be out
to try aud improve their 4-4
mark for the year. In an earlier
engagement with the Omaha
crew, NU won by a score of 11-1.
However, they will be out for re
venge over a KS squad that
down the Huskers, 10H-7.
The tennis team, who bowed
to Iowa State on All-Sports Day,
will be meeting the Wildcats for
the first time this ye nr. The rac
quet crew has a record of 5-7.
The baseball team, who was
cheated out of a two-game aeries
with the Kansas Jayhawks be
cause of bad weather, moves into
Oklahoma for two, Friday and Sat
urday.

Aircraft will again welcome a group of college pro
fessors at members f the engineering staff during the
coming summer months.
Last year our "summer professors" represented col
leges from coast to coast They tackled important projects
in such diverse fields as instrumentation and vibration,
combustion, compressible flow, and materials develop
ment. Despite the limited time available to these men,
they made significant contributions to our overall effort.
Though it was to be expected that both the com
pany and the participating professors might benefit di
rectly from such a program, the sphere of influence
h&t been much broader. The many students who are
taught by these professors during the college year are
sharing the ultimate benefit! ... profiting from lectures
that are sparked by the kind of practical experience
