Win, tie or lose, the Sooner have a sure ticket to tbe Orange Bowl classic Hosier halfback Rex Fischer, who holds a one game edge over Tommy McDonald of Oklahoma, finally dislodged the Sooner star as tbe number ooe ground gainer. Conference statistics show Fischer with 119 carries for 532 yards against McDonald's 76 carries for 550 yards. Average-wise McDonald holds an impressive margin. Willie Greenlaw, shifty N.U. junior holds i,t the aimber three slot after an impressive showing Saturday against the Buffs. Tbe nation's top ranked eleven continued to roll in overall statis tics. Tbe only change in the individual scoring race saw Husker field gen eral Don Erway move into second ahead of Bob Bums of O.U. witb 55 points. Erway netted two T-D.'s a field goal and four extra points in the Colorado victory. Erway is tbe only conference player to have scored in all three categories; touchdowns, field goals and extra points.
