Werner, professor of horticulture at the College 'of Agri culture, reports the first showing -of about eight new potato varieties at Ag Day. Werner says this spud is of very good cooking quality and is partic ularly easy to peel! Now, for mash ers with a sweet tooth, they aran't to be forgotten either. Four va rieties of sweet potatoes, found suitable for growth in Nebraska, will be .shown at the Ag Day ex hibit. Werner further . announced that three varieties now available com mercially, but quite new on the market, also will be shown.
