In the next ten years, the demand for General
Electric industrial heating equipment will
double. To meet this demand, a giant new
plant (model at right) is being built at
Shelbyville, Indiana.
The plant will cost $5,000,000, and the
man responsible for handling finances for
the entire job is 32-year-old R. E. Fetter.

would be profitable.
Now, during construction, Fetter's chief
