Bradley will be the first in a three-game tour. The Huskers will meet Alabama at Tuscaloosa Mon day and Memphis State at Mem phis Wednesday. ' Bill Wells, regular guard who missed the South Dakota game, will be ready for action. Wells was out due to an infected foot. Stan Matzke, 6-2 starting guard, also missed the So.,Dak. game with an injured elbow. It is not known if Matzke will be ready for the trip. In 1952, Nebraska beat Bradley 73-65. Coach Bush watched Alabama beat Bradley 84-65 earlier this year. Bradley reportedly has been improving with each game, how- All-U Team Phi Gams Wrestling Champs The Phi Gams took the intra mural wrestling championship with 25 points. The Sig Eps were second with 18 points, while the Delts placed third with 13 points. Farm House B team knocked off Beta Sigma Psi B, 58-19, and the Phi Gam C team edged fighting Farm House C team by the narrow margin of two points, 37-35. Jim Bard scored 11 points for the Phi Gams, while Ed Stoller scored the same number for Farm House. Raddle Hot Pioneer won over Norris 44-35 as David Ward led the way with 24 points. Basketball Forward Chuck Smith leads Cornhusker scoring with 33 points for two games. Smith, a junior, has connected for 19 free tosses in 22 attempts. Sophomore Forward Rex Ekwall, 6-4, is close behind with 30 points. In addition, Ekwall leads the Huskers in the rebound column with 27. Swimmers Tie Coach Rollie Lepley's swimmers tied Grinnell College of Iowa 42-42 in a meet held at Grinnell. It was the first meet for the Cornhuskers. The gymnastics squad coached by Jake Geier will open its season here Jan. 14 in a triangular meet with Minnesota and Kansas State. Comstock Promoted Huskers Work Hard For New Years Day As the Nebraska football team goes into serious practice for their New Year's engagement with Duke,, two men were dropped from the squad and another was moved to the first unit. Still two other men were also advanced. Don Comstock, who played a stellar role with the second unit all year and improved with every game, was promoted to the first unit, shifting Ron Clark to right halfback and moving Willie Green law to the second unit. Jon Mc Williams, who was shifted from halfback to end in the middle of the season, may see action with the No. 1 unit. Bob Berguin, No. 2 center, is being shifted to guard. Korinek Ready Dennis Korinek, who was forced out of the Hawaii trip because of a broken jaw, was put back on the No. 2 eleven. He will be ready to go full speed by the Duke clash. Two relferves, Dirkes Rals ton and fullback Jim Yeisley, were dropped from the team because of violation of University rules. Rals ton was team captain in the Hawaii tilt.
