In the last home game for 17
graduating seniors of Nebraska
football team, the Nebraska Corn
huskers will meet the Pittsburg
Panthers in a game that is ex
pected to be seen by a standing
room-only crowd of 40,000 loyal
Cornhusker Fans.
The Huskers enter their Home
coming game sporting an over-all
record of five wins against two
losses, and a conference record of
four wins against only one loss.
The Pittsburg Panthers enter
the game with a win-loss record of
3-4, but the record doesn't reveal
the true story of the team since
the Panthers have lost to such
formidable opponents as Ohio
State, Notre Dame, Southern Cali
fornia and Minnesota.

Nebraska has never beaten a
Pittsburg ball club in Memorial
Stadium, but the Huskers will be
trying for number one this Satur
day. Injuries suffered in the Kansas
game have weakened the team,
especially the end corps, but the
Cornhuskers are still rated as 5V4
points favorites. ,
Game captain for he Home
coming game will be senior guard,
