Summer Session Enrollment
Set At Approximately 2500
Frank Sorenson. director of
summer sessions, said today that
about 2500 students are expected
to register for summer school.
"There are about the same
number of graduate students
during summer as winter," Sor
enson said. He said that nearly
two-thirds of the students in
summer school are those who
come from outstate and are here
only for the summer session,

will give the summer students a

Coliseum on June 9. Classes will
begin June 10. During the first
week only, classes will be held
on Saturday.
Means To Receive
Dent Scholarship
An $1,800 dental residency schol
arship has been awarded to Arden
Means, senior in the College of
Dentistry.
The national competitive schol
arship is for a one-year residency
at St. Christopher's Hospital in
Philadelphia, Pa. It was awarded
on the basis of scholastic attain
ment. Means has an A.B. degree, a
Bachelor of Science degree in me
chanical engineering and a Bache
lor of Science in chemistry.
He is a member of Sigma Chi,
N Club and Xi Psi Phi, dental fra
ternity. Before entering the Uni
versity, Means was an officer in
the Navy.
Cornhuskers
Cornbuskers will be distribu
ted in the Cornhusker office in
the Union basement Friday from
12:30 to 5 p.m. Students are
asked to bring their receipts and
ID cards.
