James William Popular Name A problem of nomenclature has developed at the University cf Nebraska athletic department. The director and head foot ball coach have the same first and middle names James Wil liam Orwig and James William Glassford. To avoid confusion, however, both answer to the name Bill. Coach Bill Easton of the powerful University of Kansas track and field squad stated Monday that he refused to let five of his athletes compete in the Drake Relays Saturday be cause they violated a 10 p.m. curfew rule at Des Moines Thursday night. The five were Bill Brown and Don Sneegas, junior javelin throwers; Bill Neider. sopho more shot putter; Leon Wells, sophomore high jumper, and Bob Stinson, sophomore pole vaulter. Easton said all might have come through with good performances at Drake. tract at the option of either party. The bill also contains a section which states that a coach's contract should not be renewed meerly at the option of the coach. Syas specifically implied that the proposal has nothing to do with the Glassford inci dent. Syas stated, "I don't blame the coaches for getting as good a deal as they can." He adds, "my resolution is aimed at the University, not the coaches." Athletic Director Bill Orwig was in Scottsbluff and was unable to make a statement. Football Coach Bill Glassford simply had "no comment." Softball 'Scores Alhpa Tau Onteta 8.
