copy writer for the Cornhusker

The position pays $20 a month
and consists of being responsible
for one-half of the copy for the
book. Barb Adams, editor, stated
that anyone with journalism ex
perience may apply, but journal
asm majors are especially urged

To Danforth Group
Former Chancellor R. G. Gus
tavson named J. P. Colbert, dean
of student affairs, liaison officer
in connection with the Danforth
Foundation graduate fellowships.
The fellowships are offered to
college seniors and recent grad
uates who are planning to enter
graduate school in September,
1954, for their first year of grad
uate study. The Foundation is
particularly interested in stu
dents of natural sciences, social
sciences, humanities and other
fields of specialization in the
undergraduate college.
STUDENTS WITH or without
financial aid are invited to apply
for the appointments which are
primarily "a relationship of en
couragement," carrying a prom
ise of financial aid within pre
scribed conditions.
All Danforth Fellows will par
ticipate in the annual Danforth
Foundation Conference on teach
ing to be held at Camp Mini
wanca in Michigan next Septem
ber. .
The qualifications of the can
didates, as announced, by the
foundation, are:
1. Evidence of superior intel
lectual ability in college.
2. Good record of health and
emotional stability.
3. Outgoing personality and a
concern for people which is es
sential for successful teaching. ,

the Regulus, designed under the sponsorship of tb
