"The annual tea rec ognizes the work and time the girls have devoted to extra-curricular activities," Darlene Good ding, president, explained. The girls, formerly selected on hours worked in activities, were chosen this year by religious di rectors, BABW board, and presi dents of organiations which in clude independent women mem bers. The other award, a scholastic plaque, will be given to the in dependent woman's organization having the highest average last I semester. "Formerly the plaque was awarded for over-all achieve ments, not just scholarship," Miss Goodding said. Houses eligible to receive the award are: International House, Women's Dorm, Terrace Hall, Love Memorial Hall, Loomis Hall, Wilson Hall, Towne Club, and Rosa Bouton Hall. Want Adi Eleven events are scheduled for the 19th annual Block and Bridle Livestock Show set for Saturday evening at the State Fair Grounds. The' show, scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. wtfl be held in the coa seum at the'fair grounds. Tickets for the show may be ob tained from the members of the Block and Bridle Club. They are 90 cents for adults 65 cents for Students and 35 cents for children. A ticket booth will be open at the State Fair Grounds the night of the show. The 11 events ofthe livestock show are the beef, swine and sheep showmanship; "Judy Gar land" high school dancing norse; jumping horse class; parade class; coed horse riding contest; three featured banjo artist; a fine har ness horse class and the grand champion showmanship contest. The champion contest will De made up of the first place winners in the beef, swine and sheep showmanship classes. A total of 87 entries have entered the Saturday show. The grand championship trophy is awarded by the National Block and Bridle Club.
