"Watch out for the politician who scratches your back, tells yon he agrees with yon on every controvers ial issue, sends you a greeting on your birthday, becomes a perspiring errand boy in help ing you with your personal business, and who votes for every special privilege which the economic group you be long to may want. "I say watch out for him be cause he makes a virtue out of political expediency and a lia bility out of intellectual honesty. He propagates political hypo crisy and prostitutes political morality." 2.
