B team and the University of Mis
souri B team tee off at 3 p.m. this
afternoon on the Husker practice
field all tempers will be under
control.
However, if the two squads re-!
member their first meeting four
weeks ago, in which the Huskers'
came out a 13-0 winner, and they!
continue the rough tactics em
ployed in that game you may have
a penance to see some very rough

Tigers in their first meeting with
the exception of halfbacks Jim
Cederdahl and Jim Yiesley.
Both have moved up to the var
sity squad and will see action in
the Homecoming game Saturday.
Cederdahl was outstanding with
his 40-yard punt average in eight
boots. Yiesley was the best defen
sive back on the field as he!

as a full schedule of lines are
on tap for Saturday afi moon.
The Oklahoma Soont per

travel to Manhattan. Ka sas. to
battle Kansas State's Wildcats.
The Sooners, after two suiVessive
losses to Texas and Texas A. & M,
have come back strong despue the
loss of all American Billy Vessels.
Last Saturday, Bud Wilkinson's
charges trampled a highly I re
garded Colorado eleven by a cevnt
of 54-14. Led by all American
tackle Jim Weatherall and backs
Eddie Crowder and Buck Mc
Phail, the Sooners should have
an easy time of it against a Wild-:
cat crew which has dropped three
conference contests and tied the
Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Kansas State, victim f some

ing under Coach Bill Meek but
have not developed enough te

tack. Out at Boulder, Colorado, Coach
Dal Ward's Buffs will play host
to the Iowa State Cyclones under

somewhat of a surprise this sea

Last Saturday the Cyclones
managed a 13-0 victory over a

The lowans, with a two win
one loss conference record for the
campaign, will be attempting io
claim the runnerup spot in the
loop at the expense of the current
number two squad, Colorado.
The Buffaloes, led this season
by little 151 pound Woody Sbel

their shellacking' at the hands

Colorado has proven their
