THE CIGARETTE it, l.ak yo wn RAIN Rain that fosters growing plant Takes the creases out of pants. Rain that settles summer dust Makes the mud that's roundly cussed.. Rain that, with its cleansing fall. Washes autos, makes them stall. Rain that fills the dwindling creek Causes people's roofs to leak. Rain that's welcome when it's hot Comes, unwanted, when it's not. Rain's a mixed-up sort of weather, Pro and eon all rolled together. Rain is nasty, rain is nifty, In proportion, fifty-fifty.
