Coach Bill Glassford reports the team to be definitely im proved. Especially impressive was the showing made by Fran Nagle, junior college transfer from West Lynn, Mass. The passing of quarterback Nagle sparked early drills of the Cornhuskers. Fran played for backfield Coach Bob Davis for two seasons at the University of Massachusetts at Fort Deven. Start One-a-Day Schedule. ' Glassford closed practice at Curtis with a full hour scrim mage Wednesday. This scrim mage completed the two-a-day practice schedule. In Lincoln Thursday the Huskers will start a single two-hour session. Lincoln workouts will be held behind closed gates. Only holders of "Quarterback Club" passes will be honored at the daily drills. There are around 300 of these ticket holders. The varsity will scrimmage the freshmen Saturday Sept. 17 at the Memorial stadium. The game will be open to the public with an admission fee of $1. Faculty members will be ad mitted with ticket No. 6. Stu dents with ID cards will be ad mitted free to the east stadium only. Rich Reese, sophomore from Omaha Central, and Bill Maxe, junior college transfer from Brainerd, Minn., have beep switched to tackle positions.
