counselors who like outdoor ac
tivities and working with girls
from seven through high school
age. Swimming, canoeing, boating,
tennis, dramatics, hand craft and
camping are some of the fields in
which counselors teach at Ki
wanis. CAMP KIWANIS is at Mil ford,
on the Blue river. Due to changes
in the river, the camp, with the
exception of the swimming pool, is
being rebuilt and moved to higher
ground, making the camp larger
and safer.
The camp will open late in June.
Salaries will depend upon ex
perience. Day camp counselors are needed
for six different locations in Lin
coln. The day camps are held dur
ing parts of June and July.
Interested University women
should apply at the Camp Fire of
fice, 704 Sears Roebuck building,
or in Ellen Smith hall.
Morin to Head
AICliE Chapter
Lauren Morin has been elected
president of the Nebraska chap
ter of the American Institute of
Chemical Engineers. He will
serve thruout the fall semester
of the 1949-50 school year. He
succeeds Warren Koenig, retiring
president.
Other officers elected are: Don
Corkill, vice-president; James
Stoddart, secretary; Jerry Muel
ler, treasurer; and Dick Williams,
corresponding secretary.
