Holdslnitiation
The annual Founders Day of
Delta Theta Phi law fraternity
was celebrated Saturday after
noon with initiation ceremonies
in the Supreme Court Chambers
at the Capitol Building.

Nebraska Sees
Employment Hise
April brought Nebraska an in
crease in employment.
The state labor office called the
increase a "long awaited up
swing" Commissioner Donald Miller has
said that 7,4f( persons were re
ported jobless on May 1. This
figure represents a drop of 42
percent in the preceding month.
Miller also said that heavy
placement gains over March in the
outdoor employment fields on
farms ;fnd construction projects
contributed largely to the drop in
unemployment.

Corn Cobs, Gerhart is president
of Alpha Tau Omega.
Jack Barnhart has been a Corn
busker worker for the past year.
He is a member of Builders and
Kappa Sigma.
Miss Buss has served the Corn
huskcr for two years. A Tassel,
she is affiliated with Chi Omega.
The new Cornhuskcr editor an
nounced the following section
heads for the book next year. All
who applied for a section has been
given some responsibility, Con
nelly said.
