Waring, editor of the Littleton,
Colo., Independent, was a Nie-
man fellow at Harvard, xie is

Waring has recently returned
from delivering the Eric Allen
memorial lecture at the Univer
sity of Oregon. He is here as a
guest of the Nebraska Press asso
ciation. The purpose of the convocation
is to give the Journalism students
a chance to hear a successful
editor give his views on his specialty.
