Hurlbut discussed the non-technical options avail able to Ag engineers' at the ASAE meeting hold Wednesday night at 7 o'clock in the Ag Engineering building. Three Ag engineer seniors, Bill Splinter, Leslie Jochens and Bert rand Somerhalder, spoke briefly of options in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering and engi neering mechanics. Tentative plans for an ASAE convention to be held at K-State in March were discussed. Twenty men indicated they were in favor of such a meeting. Water Sports With 6,000 inland lakes and 2,300 miles of shoreline on the Great Lakes, Michigan has become an outstanding place for water sports. Connecticut The state of Connecticut, prom inent in manufacturing and in dustry is, also, famous for its rec reation and summer resort facilities. YW Party Open To All Students Square dancing will be fea tured at a free party open to all University students Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the city YWCA. Other rec reation includes ping-pong, swim ming and dancing. The new coed program is known as Jack and Jill night. A good caller is promised for the square dancing, and other plans indicate that the evening will be different than the usual movie coffee routine. Students who wish to swim are reminded that per mits from Student Health are necessary. Recreation Area The commonwealth of Massa chusetts is a popular recreation area with many fine beaches dot ting the shores of its more than 1,000 miles of shoreline.
