Recent snow and brisk wind
have made the girls conscious of
the hidden value of long skirts

woolen scarves have also proved
Erck for their Christmas party.

their worth. But beneath this
warm exterior warmer dresses
and suits have also become out
standing. Jo Shively shuns the cold in a
deep brown corduroy jumper.
Pockets buttoned in gold and a
thin gold belt are the unusual
features, and the underneath note
is a tailored white blouse.
Quilting, a favorite in grand
mother's day, has become the
pride and Joy of Virginia Bodin
son. She wears a rust, green and
white cotton print, quilted for
warmth. The flared skirt and
long-sleeved bodice are set off by
white buttons and finished with
a Peter Pan collar.
Carol Gross looks like the typ
ical collegiate in a plaid suit fea
turing a long box jacket and multi-pleated
skirt. Unusual are the
silver rimmed self buttons. The
colors are red, dark green, yellow,
and white.
Jo Bredenhurr stays warm in a
black velveteen suit with a fishtail
back and a full skirt. The jacket
features a single row of tiny but
tons and a small roll collar.
Beneath any of an assortment
of bright sweaters, Bcv Larson
wears a brown woolen skirt with
tab pockets and a cleverly belted
back. Pat Baldwin finds that
there is nothing like a brilliant
ski-sweater for warmth and style.

Hers is a patriotic red, white and
blue.
Donna Jean Nordgrren favors
her English tweed suit. The
belted jacket, straight skirt, and
full cuffed sleeves are emphasized
by the harmonizing brown leather
belt.
Soldier blue corduroy is the
material of Ioleen Miller's pet
suit. High slit pockets an dgold
and blue buttons are the only
ornaments on the otherwise plain
suit.
Jean Borcherding has posses
sion of the "ultimate" in gabar
dine dresses. Hers is royal blue,
perennial favorite, with three
quarter length sleeves and a plain
bodice front. The back is but
toned to the waist and has two
flirty pleats at the hem. The
dress is an ideal one for gold
accessories.
