Aiming toward the training of
business managers, not just typ
ists and bookkeepers, the Uni
versity's College of Business Ad
ministration is under the direction
of Dr. Earl S. Fullbrook and his
faculty of more than 80 as
sistants.
Accounting, banking, finance
commercial law, economics, for
eign trade and the diplomatic
service, business administration,
insurance, marketing, advertising,
industrial administration and
personnel management are all in
cluded in the specialized courses
offered by the college.
College Opened 1919.
The year 1919 marked the be
ginning of bizad college at Ne
braska. Before that year, the
college was known as the School
of Commerce. It is a charter
member of the American Associ
ation of Collegiate Schools of
Business, and has offices and
classrooms in the Social Sciences
building on the city campus.
Offering a two-year degree oi
Associate in Business Administra
tion, as well as the four-year
course toward a degree of Bach
elor of Science in Business Ad
ministration, the college requires
the student to complete and have
credit for a minimum i or no
credit hours for graduation.
Credits Easily Adjusted.
The college's two-year course
is designed for students who do
not beliee they will be able to
remain In the University for the
four-year course, and is so organ
ized that a student will have no
difficulty in adjusting his credits
without loss should he choose to
resume four-year study after
completition of the two-year
course.
With professional training as its
goal, the college none the less
graduates its students with lib
eral educations.
