Last Call Issued for Entries In Summer Sports Program For the second time, Tie Daily Nebraskan is printing the- sched ule of events on the summer sports bulletin. Director Louis E. Means has issued a last call for more entries in the various team events. Means stated that more teams are needed in Softball, tennis, and horseshoes. The schedule of events is as follows: Softball Any group may enter a team. Entries made at 207 Coliseum. Play started Monday, with games at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, -and Thursday each week. Championship medals will be presented winning team mem bers. Cofl 1. Band Day to Mark Football Season Band Day has been restored as one of the features of the Uni versity football season, Don Lentz, director of the Cornhusker band announced. Nebraska high school bands are guests on that day and provide part of the half time entertainment. Band Day will be held No vember 6, when Kansas State plays here.
