College and Dr. Col. P. Hef- fner, the PMS & T, in a postal match between universities and colleges all over the United States. Pershing Rifles sent three men from the national headquarters here at the University to make the presentation. The men were Albert J. McGill, Herbert F. Miller and Paul G. Hanson. Terry States, Engineering col lege sophomore, president; Donald Stine, bizad freshman, secretary treasurer; Harold Gilliland, engi neering junior, athletic chairman; and Bob Schmidt, engineering sophomore, social chairman. Dormitory "B". Norman Zahn, bizad freshman, president; Bill Farmer, arts and sciences sophomore, secretary treasurer; Wendell Boesiger, teachers sophomore, athletic chairman; and Richard Pond, en gineering sophomore, social chair man. Dormitory "C". Bill Hess, bizad junior, presi dent; Tom May, bizad freshman, secretary-treasurer; Gary Joselyn, teachers freshman, athletic chair man; and Gerald Roesler, arts and sciences senior, social chairman. Nineteen fraternities on the Kansas State college campus have pledged 100 men for the second semester. Leading in numbers are Lambda Chi Alpha with 14, Chi Sigma with 13, Sigma Phi with 10, and Alpha Tau Omega with six. t P Five Members Five pledges to Mu chapter of Alpha Epsilon Rho, national ra dio honorary, were announced last night at a special pledging ceremony at the Temple theater. They are: Russell Calahan, John Carson, Betty Laird, Dorothy Ogden and Darrel Peters. Pledges to Alpha Epsilon Rho are selected on the basis of high scholarship in radio courses, scholarship above the all-campus average and outstanding work in radio. The ceremony followed a short business meeting presided over by President B. J. Holcomb". A short address was given by the faculty sponsor, Paul L. Bogen, and after the ceremony, the group ad journed to the home of W. C. Dempsey, radio instructor, for a buffet supper. - Four radio students were re cently initiated into Alpha Epsilon Rho. They were Carl Gengen-bach- Bill Lucas, Gaylord Marr and Lydia Nekuda. The organization voted earliei to present records to the record library of the radio section. Since that time, six albums and over 15 individual records have been do nated to the library. Alpha Lambda Delta will hold a special meeting Wednesday, April 14 at 5 p.m. It is important that all members attend.
