Teachers College Prof Named to Industry Board Dr. Harold E. Wise of the Uni versity of Nebraska Teachers Col lege is one of 10 U.S. educators in the field of science chosen to serve on a joint Industry-Science Teachers Council. The council, headed by Dr. Morris Meister of the New York High School of Science, is com posed of 20 members from indus try and teaching field. It will rec ommend various means for closer cooperation between American in dustry and science education. NuMeda to Hear 'Address Dr. H. E. Harveji, Lincoln Gyne cologist, will be the guest speaker at the April meeting of the Ne braska Nu-Meds next Wednesday in parlor X of the Union. A dinner will precede the meet ing at 6:15. Husker Nine Captures Third Road Victory Nebraska university's baseball team won its third game of the season and its first loop game Friday when the Huskers romped over Oklahoma s nine, 16-4. The Huskers cracked 16 hits while the Sooners were collecting only three safeties. Big Jim Sand stedt worked until the ninth in ning. Angelo Ossino took over and hurled hitless ball in his one in nmg. Both teams were unsteady in the high wind. Oklahoma made nine errors, and Nebraska made six. The Huskers scored in every inning except the seventh and eighth. Only four of the 13 runs made off Sooner Pitcher Elton Davis were earned. Wes Maser, Nebraska right- fielder, knocked in five runs be fore leaving the game with a sprained ankle. Leftfielder Fritz Hegwood collected four safeties. With 30 seconds remaining in the game, the DU's held an 11-9 edge. The Beta's dropped a two pointer in the final five seconds to knot the score at the end of the regulation time. Then with ten seconds left in the overtime, Delta Upsilon dropped another bucket to win the game. In Thursday's other games, the Muscle Men trounced YMCA, 14-3, and Sigma Nu margined Sigma Phi Epsilon, 9-6. Adams Returns To Huskers Dale Adams, fullback from Randolph, has returned to the University of Nebraska. Adams ran 40 yards to a touchdown against the Kansas Jayhawkers here last fall. The 19-year-old 210-pound Cornhusker withdrew J from school at the end of the semester because of the serious illness of his mother. Eastern Trip Being Planned For NU Cagcrs An eastern trip next December, climaxed by an appearance in Madison Square Garden against Long Island University, is being negotiated for the University of Nebraska basketball team, Coach Harry Good announced Friday.
