This is the second meeting of the two schools this year. The Cornhuskers took a 59-55 victory at Boulder earlier in the season. The Buffs started the current loop campaign by dropping six in a row. Coach Frosty Cox's crew has come back in its last three cir cuit contests, defeating Iowa State, Oklahoma and Missouri. Colorado has a season's record of five wins and 11 losses. Scarlet Contribute. Nebraska contributed to the conference mixup Saturday night when the Huskers dealt the Iowa State Cyclones a 62-57 defeat. Coach Good's cagers hold a con ference record of three victories and five defeats and an all-game record of 9-11. Tonight's contest will be a fight to stay out of the cellar position in the Big Seven. Coach John Thompson's Ne braska Nubbins will play a pre liminary game against Concordia College. The Nubbins previously defeated the Concordia crew, 84 41, at Seward. The preliminary contest. will begin at 5:45. Radio station KOLN will broad cast the varsity game at 7:35 p. m. ( '))) I 3 4 NEBRASKA SPRINTER Dick Hutton will be one of the Husker sprinters who will carry Nebraska's colors into the Big Seven indoor championships Saturday at Kansas City. Colorado Drops Tigers, 56-48 Coach Frosty Cox's University of Colorado Buffalos gave further notice of their improvement when they downed Missouri's Tigers on the Boulder court, Monday night, 56-48. The victory was the third in a row in Big Seven competition for the Buffalos. Colorado's Carr Besemann and Bob Rolonder each dropped five fielders in the last half to help turn back the Tigers. Besemann was high scorer of the game with 22 poinnts. The Tiger's Thorton Jenkins was runner-up with 17. Colorado held a 26-25 margin at 4he half after being 12 points ahead three minutes earlier. The Buffalos now hold a record of three victories and six defeats in loop play. They will go against Nebraska university's Cornhusk ers tonight in Lincoln.
