Another aprro pration totaling 3,000 dollars has been granted for the pro curement of books, journals, and periodicals. A total of 25,885.71 dollars has been received since July 1, 1946, in special appropriations, all of which has been used for the im provement of the Pharmacy department. The major portion of this sum has been iinvested in torsion balances, ; electric kymographs, microscopes, laboratory glassware, and other essential laboratory and office equipment. Other specific items will be procured with the new appropriations.
