Marvin Grimm, Husker ace, was the leading individual per former. Grimm won two first places and anchored the 440-yard relay for a total of 11 points. Nebraska's other two firsts came in the one-meter diving and 220-yard breast stroke. The Huskers' Roger Moore took the number one spot in the diving, and Gould Flagg grabbed second. US Tank Stars Better National, World Marks Joe Verdeur of LaSalle college, Philadelphia, and Allen Stack, Yale captain, bettered world's swimming records lost week in the sixteenth annual Yale swimming carnival. Verdeur swam the 200-meter braast stroke in 2 minutes 32 sec onds, three seconds better than his own mark for that distance. He also lowered his American record of 2:35.6, by two seconds Stack lowered the 400-meters international back stroke mark by racing the distance in 5:03.9. The Yale captain also bettered Michi gan's Harry Holliday's 440-yard American record. The Iowa swimming star also claimed a new American record in the 100-yard free style with a 51.9 seconds performance against Minnesota lastweek. The mark bettered the 52-second American record set by Johnny Weismuller, Illinois A. C, Aug. 1, 1925 in Seattle, Washington. Oklahoma scored 50 points and Nebraska. 49 2-3. There was but one pole vault contstant, Leonard Kehl of Nebraska, which meant that only five points were awarded in this event. Kehl cleared 13 feet A inch. Jimmy .Smith of Oklahoma was the high point maker with a total of 21 7-12 points.
