But the Nov. 22 test will be a rugged assignment. On that date a title-bound Oklahoma Sooner gang invades the Memorial Stadium lair for a title-bearing Big Six battle. Coach Bud Vilkinson's Sooners, up from a startling 21-12 win over the same Missouri club that wal loped the Huskers only two weeks earlier by a 47-6 count, will be eyeing the loop crown knowing a win is a must in order to keep those title aspirations alive. Offensive Drill. Coach Bernle Masterson herded his charges onto the Coliseum' practice grounds Monday night and sent the varsity performers through a lengthy offensive drill. The Huskers reported in top shape after the week of light drills. KU casualties Gerald Ja- cupke and Jack Pcsek have shaken their injuries and are ready for duty. Masterson had Pesck and Alex Cochrane, running in the wing slot vacated by Ralph Damkrogcr, who was lost for the season with a fractured thumb, at the ends; Charlie Toogood and Carl Samucl son at the tackles, Fred Lorenz and Gene Wilkins at the guards and Tom Novak at center. Can Jumble Race. Nebraska can jumble the Big Six title picture with a win Satur day. And the Huskers, who ap peared to have found themselves in the second half of the Kansas game, may be keyed for an upset performance in their final loop battle. Should the Huskers win and the Kansas Jayhawks triumph over Missouri in their clash at Law rence, KU will roll into the cham pionship, but if the Tigers gain a win while the Huskers handle the Sooners, Missouri will back into the title. If;KU gains a win and trie Sooners also post a victory, both will share conference honors once again. UNSooner Game To Be Televised Radio station WOW's telivision engineers received the consent of the UN athletic department to televise the Cornhusker-Oklahoma Sooner football game to be played in Memorial stadium next Satur day. WOW, which received the consent last week, announced the Wrestle Tourney Next IM Event Entries for the Group II Jack Best wrestling matches must be turned into room 207 Coliseum not later than Wednesday noon, Nov. 26, I M Director L. E. Means has announced. Any individual may enter the tournament. Organizations must have a minimum of four com petitors to qualify to Jack Best points. Organizations may enter a maximum of only two men In each weight. Pairings and weighing in will be made Dec. 1. Wrestlers must report for matches on Tuesday at 5 p. m. or forfeits will be de clared. In the table tennis tournament last week Beta Sigma Pi paddled their way to 4-1 decision over Beta Sigma Psi, Newman Club edged Alpha Tau Omega 3-2 while Sigma Alpha Epsilon took five sets from Sigma Nu. project is purely for experimen tal purposes. The entire game will be tele vised by WOW engineers so that the station's personnel can learn the technique of covering football games for the future. The tele cast will not be on the air, but, like all WOW's experiments thus far, will be only from the cameras to the receivers via cables. Only WOW's engineers will be permit ted to view the game on the tele vision screen. Sooners Upset Missouri; Gain Tie Loop Lead The University of Oklahoma's Sooners upset the Big Six dope bucket Saturday as they toppled Missouri's Tigers from the loop lead. 21-12. Iowa State sent Kan sas State into the circuit cellar with a 14-0 defeat, and Kansas nipped the Oklahoma Aggies, 13-7. Missouri, previously undefeated in three conference starts, was unable to hold the powerful Sooners Saturday and went down in defeat, 21-12. Oklahoma dom inated the play in the first quar ter and held a seven-point lead early in the second period. Then Missouri struck quickly and took a 12-7 half-time margin. Tiger Fumble Costly. The winning tally came on a brilliant spot punt by Oklahoma's Darrcll Royal, followed by a Tiger fumble. Thus the Sooners jumped into a tie for the loop lead with Kansas university, aech holding a record of three wins and a tie. Iowa State's Cyclones scored their only Big Six football vic tory of the season Saturday as they dclt Kansas State its 25th straight defaet, 14-0. The touch downs came within three min utes of each other in the second quarter. The first resulted from a Wildcat fumble on its five, and UN Harriers Last In Big Six Meet Nebraska's two-mile team failed in its final chance to break into the win column Saturday at Ames, la., as they trailed the Big Six field in the loop cross country championships. Kansas university's harriers upset a favored Oklahoma crew to cop top honors. With Bob Karnes setting the pace, the Jay hawks scored 28 points. Karnes was clocked at 9:50.3. The runner-up Sooners scored 40. Following in order of finish were: Missouri, 59; Kansas State, 50; Iowa State, 62; Nebraska 79. the second came on a pass from Ron Norman to Vic Weber. Cyclones Gain Fifth. Kansas State never got beyond the Cyclone 43-yard line. Statis tics gave Iowa State 15 first downs and 242 rushing, while the Wildcats were gaing only four first downs and 43 yards. The victory gave the Cyclones fifth place in the conference and left Kansas State in the cellar. Kansas university traveled to Stillwater, Okla-, Saturday to hand the Oklahoma Aggies a 13-7 de feat. The Aggies led through the first half but could not hold the Jayhawks in the third quarter. Forrest Griffith scored both Kan sas markers, the first on an 11 yard jaunt in the second stanza, and the second on a 19-yard race in the third.
