It is an ego-shaking thought to en tertain for very long. We ore concerned with the af fairs which are important to us: Whether or not the professor who has it "in for us" is going to pick on us again today, if "she" will give us a break and not bo busy Friday night or if "he" will ask us for o date after the hour dance. Surely in a' university of 10,000 students no professor could take time to single out one special student and pick on him, and, no doubt, the "he" or "she" of today will be replaced by someone new in three or four weeks. We become entagled in our own problems and therefore are not free to assume a responsible place in this complete system of ours. Every beginning is small. Your Church Episcopal There will be the regular morn ing prayer and sermon service at the University Episcopal church, 13th and R street, 11:00 a.m. There will be no 8:30 service. Baptist Saturday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. there will be a "Boo Boo" party at the Baptist Student Cen ter at 315 north 15th street. Wear old clothes. Sunday supper will be at 5:30. The devotional service, led by Rev. Sargent Bush, will begin at 6:30. Ann Johnson will be the devotion leader. Presbyterian The Forum at 5:00 will be led by foreign students. The discus sions will be followed by supper and a social hour at 6:15. Lutheran Chapel services will be held Sunday at 10:45 in room 315 of the Student Union.' Rev. Gamma Delta members and guests will meet at 2:00 in front of the Student Union to proceed to Concordia Teachers College, at Seward. Those with cars should bring them.
