Swim Meeting
Conch Hollie Lopley has an
nounced a dsire to meet all men
interested in competitive swim
ming at a short, informal meeting
in room No. 1 of the Coliseum
basement.
Purpose of the meeting is to get
acquainted with all new men in
terested in swimming, to recheck
with men returning from last
year's squad and to study sched
ules and outline plans for the
year.
Official swim practice will not
start until Nov. 15.

Big Six football clubs ran into
stiff opposition in intcrscctional
tilts over the week-end with only
Oklahoma and Kansas U. gaining
victories. The Sooners downed a
stubborn Detroit U. eleven 24-20,
and Kansas, using their star back
Ray Evans very little, margined
Denver U. 9-0.
Missouri's Tigers were unable
to stop a determined Ohio State
club as the Buckeyes gained a
13-7 victory in the closing min
utes. The Missourians, after send
ing Sub Fullback Ed Quirk over

minutes and 40 seconds before the
