PAGE 8 THE DAILY NEBRASKAN Thursday, September 18, 1947 Oslo Conferee Speaks Sunday Miss Margaret Ann Osborn, dclegate-at-largc of the UC MS to the Oslo conference last summer, will discuss her experiences at the second world fellowship con ference when she is guest speaker at the "Town and Gown" fellowship at the First Christian Church, Sept. 21 at 5 p. m. Miss Osborn was graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1942. She also attended the Hartford Theological Seminary and received her master's degree from the Columbia University in 1947. Mobile Denial Unit Will Treat Naval Officers, Trainees A mobile dental unit sent from Great Lakes for treatment of all navy personnel on active duty in this district is located this week at the Naval ad Military Science building. A veritable denial clinic on wheels, the unit is made up of a tractor, motive power unit, trailer, two complete operating room units, dental x-ray space, and a waiting room. It is operated un der the direction of Lt. Cmdr. H. P. Williamson who heads the staff of two doctors, two dental corpsmen, and a driver and main tenance man. Originated during the war, the naval dental unit was built es pecially to accommodate small out lying stations within the United States where proper dental fa cilities are not available, accord ing to Lt. Cmdr. Williamson. All dental students have been invited to inspect the unit which will be station here until next Tuesday. Three Students Resume Promotion Of Chesterfields Genenc Mitchell, B. J. Holcomb ftnd Jack Hill will represent the Chesterfield cigarette company on campus this year, it was an nounced Thursday. Now on a nation-wide basis, the Chesterfield campus representa tive program has been effected by the three students in the previous semester. They will continue to promote Chesterfields on a cam pus basis, tying in their work with a recent survey showing Chester iields to be, "the campus favorite." KOSMET KLl'B. There will be a meeting of all active Kosmet Klub members in the Klub's room at 5 p. m. Thurs day. UNITARIAN CHURCH. "Can Religion be Taught in the Fublic Schools" will be the sub ject of Dean Frank E. Henzlik's address Sunday at 11:00 a. m. at the Unitarian Church at 12th and H streets. NU-MED. There will be a meeting of the Nu-Med executive committee at 5 o'clock, on the third floor of Bessey Hall Thursday. INDEPENDENT COEDS. The BABW will sponsor a tea for all independent coeds on Sat urday, Sept. 20 from 2 to 5 p. m. to introduce four recently organ ized groups for unaffiliated girls. Adelphi will be in the faculty lounge, Hesperia in Ellen Smith Hall, and Amikita and Kernels in rooms 316 and 313 of the Union. STUDENT COUNCIL. There will be a Student Council meeting Wednesday, Sept. 24, in room 316 of the Union, L. S. A. E. The City Campus Lutheran Stu dent association will meet at First Lutheran Church, 17 and A, at 5 o'clock Sunday evening. A bus will leave at 4:45 p. m. from the Student Union for those who wish transportation to First Lutheran Church. The Ag Campus LSA will meet at the Lutheran Student House at 1200 N. 37th St. at 6:30 p. m. The topic for the evening will be "What is LSA?". The presi dents Arthur Duerschner of City Campus and Gene Bargman of Ag Campus will be in charge of the programs.
