Needs Workers
Each Tuesday afternoon univer
sity coeds from the Advanced So
cial Service care for from 20 to
40 small children while their
mothers attend the YWCA Ladies'
Day Out. The children, ranging in
age from six months to school
age, are left at the city YW under
the supervision of volunteers from
this group headed by Lila Gillan.
Entertaining the children with
stories, songs and color pictures
is as interesting to the girls as to
the children. It is also excellent
experience for any girls for whom
social service is an ultimate goal.
There is an acute need for sev
eral more girls in this work. Any
one interested may report to the
YW office or talk to Lila Gillan.
