Page 4 Robert B. Crosby Will Speak At Federalist Convo Thursday By Eugene Berman Lieutenant Governor Robert B. Crosby will be the speaker at a university convocation sponsored by the university's chapter of Student Federalists, Thursday at 3 p. m. in the Union ballroom. "A Nebraska Approach to World Government" will be dis cussed by the newly elected Lieu tenant Governor, a former mem ber of the Unicameral. Speaks to Republicans Recently speaking before a meeting of the Young Republi cans, Lt. Gov. Crosby won state wide acclaim for the views he expressed concerning represent ative government. A veteran of the past war, he has suggested progressive legislation in many fields, even advocating the abol ition of the office he now holds, claiming it is "useless" and that abolition of it would save taxpay ers money. When asked whether he be lieves that the United Nations as now constituted is capable of pre serving lasting peace, he answered "No." He thinks further that the United States should make ths goal of world government the central core of our foreign policy. He also stated that an outstanding feature of Cros by's talk would be the question period at the end that will pro vide students with an opportun ity to ask him any questions that they might have concerning his talk.
