Director W. H. Brokaw will pre side over the opening session at the Union Friday. Leading speak ers will be M. L. Wilson, director of the extension service in the U. S. department of agriculture, and Miss Gladys Gallup of the Department of Agriculture. 'Saturday will be open house at the college of agriculture for the outstate visitors, and the group State football game Saturday afternoon. Visual aids will be emphasized at the Monday morning session. Chancellor R. G. Gustavson and Extension Editor Lisle Longsdorf of Kansas State college will be the principal speakers. The an nual extension dinner is sched uled at the Union on Monday night. Masquers Pledge Fourteen Students Fourteen students were pledged Nebraska Masquers, dramatic honorary society, at a recent meeting according to President Blanche Duckworth. New pledges are Robert Scott Henry Lee, Harold Anderson. Richard Espcrgren, Annette Segel. Arlene Marylander, Dorothy Lash er. Constance Cathcart, Helen riastcrs, Lorma Bullock, Gertrude Cloidt, Tom Stimpfig, Don Jo hannes and Douglas Peters. New Assistant Named by Board Gould "Fig" Flagg, a junior, has been named assistant business manager of the Daily Nebraskan by the university publications board, Jim YonLandingham, busi ness manager, announced today. Flasg's activities include the vice presidency of Alpha Tau Omega. Kosmet Klub worker and alternate member of interfrater nity council. Stiulent Health Student Physical Welfare Director Louis E. Means, in outlining the schedule for ob taining health service on both ag and city campus, stated that students wishing service dur ing hours that the office is closed should call 2-2296.
