With the weekend more than
jammed full of activities, it is
hard to give a complete report
on everyone's doings. Campus
night at King's is rapidly gaining
in popularity as evidenced by such
twosomes this week as Leo Beck
and Helen Hummel, and a new
combo Tottie Fiddoek with
Ralph Stuart. Tottie returned her
diamond and Phi Psi pin to Milt
Mack Tuesday night alter an ev
idently quick change of heart
Also enjoying the fun were Fred
die Dickinson and Kay Schaecker
this may become a steady two
some.
At the Pike.
Taking in the King of Swing
at the Pike braving the crowds
. were Pat Toof and Jack Clougli;
while Francis Fagot enjoyed the
music with Nancy King. Larry
Cook and Don Kleinschmidt, lind
ing the date situation on the cam
pus too much for them, imported
. their girls by plane and had a
big weekend including the Pike
Friday.
" A bie romance blossoming in
the Rag office is that of Dake No
votny and Pat Jensen. They went
all out and spent triday, batur
day and Sunday nights together.
A new steady deal that might
be a revelation to several people
is that of Mary Cox and Bob
Martins. They agreed to go steady
a week ago, but put off until now
because each had several former
engagements.
Fiji-Tri Delt Feud.
The feud between the Tri Delts
and Phi Gams which has been
simmering for a week with such
acts as treks to the enemy house
to paint the porch furniture with
their own brand (just give them
a brush and they go wild) came to
a climax Thursday night when
the triple Delta girls slipped in a
Sig Alph, Bob Burhans, to help
them do their work at the Fiji
house. Jane McArthur paid for
this faux pas by scrubbing the
kitchen floor before returning
home. Watch for further devel
opments on the R street front.
New Duo.
The constant appearance of the
Shirley Peterson and Aubrey Pet
tit duo of late is enough to cause
many eyebrows to rise, as Shirley
has plans for a June wedding with
home town sweetheart Pat Moss,
the giver of the ornament on her
third fincer, left hand.
Saturday Dates.
Dancing at East Hills over the
weekend were Benny Munson and
Marilyn Dixon and Bobbie Gun-
del with Amy Nelson. Another
customary ai'ter-the-game cele
bration was held by the Sig Alphs
at the Round House Saturday
ni.ht and the Delts held their
party at the chapter house. Ruth
Korb was down from Omaha for
the game Saturday and attended
the Delt party with her old
buddy, Ralph King. Speaking of
Korbs, June Korb had a week
end guest, Darrel Graber, of
Wayne.

entertainment career and his
band is largely composed of for
mer college men like himself.
Featured vocalists with the
orchestra are Rosalyn Patton and
Jack Hunter. Both Miss Patton
and Hunter have been with
Laurence since the band's incep
tion and have contributed a large
part to its success. They have
been starred on the Columbia re
cordings recently made by the
Laurence aggregation, particu
larly Mill Patton's rendition of
"Apple Blossim Time."
Tickets will be on sale for the
next week, and possibly on the
night of November 2 if the sup
ply holds out, Kline said. All
Corn Cobs and Tassels will have
the tickets which sell for $3.00
per couple.
