Large Radio Class Enrollment

Cornhusker business manager
Dean Skokan.
Skokan said all unaffiliated stu
dents would schedule their pic
tures in the mornings at Kine-
hart-Marsden, official yearbook
photoranhers.

being given in her honor by
members of the Nebraska I. V.
C. F. The dinner will be in par
lors XYZ of the Union Friday at
5:30 p. m.
As a part of the program Miss
Mary Louise Boemer, faculty
member of the school of music,
will play sacred piano music.
Among the special guests will be
Professor and Mrs. O. K. Bouw
sma, faculty sponsor, and his
wife.
Other highlights of the week
are the following meetings, which
will be held at the Union and
which will be directed by Miss
Beaton: Thursday at 7 p. m. in
room 313, a "Get Acquainted"
meeting; Saturday at 6:30 p. m.
in room 316, a discussion "Your
Questions Concerning the I. V.
C. F."; Sunday at 3 p. m. in room
316, a discussion on the question,
"Is Christianity Practical on the
U N. Campus?"
"Group singing led by Marvin
Miller and special musical num
bers will be included in each
meeting it was announced.
Fred Astaire dropped ten
pounds rehearsing and executing
his last screen dance, "Puttin on
the Ritz" for "Blue Skies." He an
nounced his retirement from
movies after the Technicolor mu
sical was finished.
Paramount has given William
Demarest permission to appear on
the Eddie Bracken radio show on
a week-to-week basis.
