Top Sixty in '45
Dr. Leslie L. Chisholm's text,
"Guiding Youth Through Secon
dary Schools," has been selected
by the American Library associa
tion and the National Education
association as one of the 60 best
textbooks written for the educa
tional field in 1945.
The book, which went into a
second printing March 1 of this
year, is used in the university's
education classes, and in a num
ber of other colleges throughout
the nation.

desiring a major in music with
out denying music instruction to
olner students in the university
not seeking music degrees.
In addition, the budget for the
next fiscal year included $136,948
