No date has been set for the wedding. Never A Murderless Moment! Everyone's Having Such Fun! By Jan Soulek. Goriest murder this year will be committed when Sig Ep Borden Portwood catches two gay dor mites, Karly Prokup and Jo Truhlson. It seems the coeds gave vent to an artistic and revengeful impulse using "Port's Puick" as the canvas. Such poetic messages as "passion parlor" and "bird on a rail" grace the windshield and fenders. People passing pause and ponder. Dr. Elliott's story of "Yitch" has intrigued the social science classes for weeks. After threatening to appropriate his pipes (tobacco), Dr. Elliott finally revealed the truth. The subject "Yitch" was not a Russian churl as the male fac tion had anticipated but rather a mispronounced form of the word itch, (better fitting false teeth at Kresges, Mr. Elliott). Some class unfortunate is daily accused of having The Itch really the hives, but Dr. Elliott couldn't let it pass. Timber! "Timber" was the cry of the Tri Delt Pledge party as DU Dick Asmussen embraced the floor. No, no, it's not what you're thinking. Sig Chi Russ Kugler was tripping qjte Rust Craft at the GOLDENROD 215 North 14th Seath of Student Union 5 sl. , a the lite fantasia (and also Dick) with Winifred Wolf. They tell me it was quite a scene prone Dick looking thoroughly floored while the dizzy pace Winifred was danc ing caused her eyeballs to pop like Rice Krispies. In the dorm patio are Kappa Barbie Turk and Gamma Phi Gracie Smith, soaking up old Sol to the shade which one frequently associates with Equadorian In dians or lush chocolate fudge sun daes. On them it looks neat. What's zis we hear 'bout the AOPi's knocking themselves out 'cuz Barbara Mayer "putted" off to a morning class? It wasn't cuz she went to class, it was how she went absent minded child on third floor teachers college she discovered she'd forgotten the es sential garments between her coat and the usual lacy things. The sergeant indeed that stared over his bi-focals at the two clean-cut youths who entered the door side by side. The boys faltered toward the desk uncertainly, flushed with chargin. It was the stupified officer who broke the silence. "What the 'ell happened to you?!" Dick Hartley and John Einung, Phi Delt pledges, stammered; "You see, it was this way . . . Any way, i onlv know the cist of the occur ance. Believe me, that's plenty for me! It seems that Dick was idly trying on a pair of hand cuffs (for which there was no key) when unconsciously he snapped one of then shut. Amidst much wailing and bitter words directed at the device or law enforcement, soap was tried, but to no avail. It seems that hand-cuffs just weren't built with loop-holes. Mumbling incoherent ly, Dick Hartley ambled about looking for release from the shackles that bound him. His last resort was to go to a police station and enlist their aid, but he was warned against this by some one who "suggested that the police would think he was an escaped criminal. Hartley's face beamed suddenly. With a new idea looming before him, he f ushed to accomplish it. Friends were soon informed of the plan and the party soon over took the newest victim, John Einung. Unwillingly; indeed, did he finally succumb to the supe rior odds, and found himself se curely manacled to Hartley. Together, (naturally) they went to the nearest precinct, and stood beside the desk, telling their story. I guess the sergeant made them buy ten tickets apiece to the com ing Policemen's Ball before he would un-lock the 'bracelets," but the boys said it was worth it. Hays office wouldn't like that. And Barbara's pink is soooo becoming. Cuties. Marges Sturm and Anthony are branding Raymond Hall cuties with strawberry jam horseshoes in the usual John manner. The Chi Omega beer (root) party had more than checkered table cloths and candled beer bot tles for attraction. Gladys Jack son revealed hidden personality talent in a "Poor Lil" rendition with a Bohemian band dressed ac cordingly baggy pants, long and loud suspenders, dirty long Johns and all. Sensations are sweeping the campus and the Theta house is no exception. Dona Leigh Brugh constantly wipes her hands due to contact made with a minnow on a lite switch one dark nite.
