Warren squired by Dale Hatch. . .
The unbelievable occurred
when a handful of Betas and
Taus ignored the prom, declared
a truce, and formed the "Big
Six" Friday night.
The geometrical figure this
week, commonly known as the
triangle, includes Jack Clements,
Dot Manion, and Jim Stoddart.

Today In Temple
Piano and vocal numbers will
be featured in th econcert wihch
the Nebraska chapter of Mu Phi
Epsilon, professional music group
for women, present at p. m. today
in the Temple Theater.
Included in the program are
"Toccata," piano solo by Martyne
Akerson, Omaha; vocal solos
"Yesterday" and "O Mio Babbino
Caro," by Donna Peters, Lexing
ton; "A Bird Flew," by trio Betty
Nicolai, Beatrice; Ann-Mari Ja
cobs, and Miss Peters; "The Bril
liant Bird," a duet by Miss Nic
olai, and Marian Peck, Wichita,
Kas., flutist; "Colors" and "Three
Blind Mice," by the Vocal Sex
tet; "Malaguena" and "Prelude
No. 2 in C Sharp Minor." by
piano duo Bernice Zajicck, Wilber,
and Ara Jane Hill, Lincoln; and
"Panis Angelicus," "Cradle Song,"
and "Our Triangle," by the Vocal
Ensemble accompanied by Miss
Akerson.

A post-vacation surprise was
handed to the Sigma Kappas as
Frances Richmond and Dale
Steele unexpectedly made the
tie last Wednesday. Jane Gil
lett and George Postlethwaite are
another happy couple for the

son's direction during vacation

Health Convention
Five representatives of the uni
versity's department of physical
education for women will be in
cluded in the program at the
American Association of Health's
annual convention in St. Louis,
April 8 to 12.
Dr. Mabel Lee, department
chairman, Dr. Alleene Lockhart,
Miss Jane Mott, Miss Frances
McPherson and Miss Eunice Way
make up the quintet. Others from
Nebraska who will attend the
meeting include Miss Clara
Rausch, faculty member, and Miss
Mary Jo Gish, senior phys ed major.

Vets Hear Plan
For Reserve Air
Corps at Meeting
The regular meeting of the Vet
erans Organization, April 13 at
7:15 p. m. in the Union, will
feature a talk by John Campbell
of the Lincoln Chamber of Com
merce, who will discuss the pro
posed Reserve Air Corps unit for
this area. The meeting is open to
anyone interested in the topic.
Mr. J. P. Colbert, chairman of
the Veteran's consultation borad,
will also be present to answer any
questions in regard to problems of
veteran students.
Those members holding mem
bership cards for sale are asked
to record their sales with the
treasurer at the next meeting.
