The Tennis club practices every Tuesday eve at 7 o'clock, accord ing to newly elected prexy, Sally Swiler, and secretary-treasurer, Helen Gillespie. Group discussion is held at 8 o'clock. On Wednesday night from 7 un til 8 o'clock Badminton club meets at Grant Memorial Gym. Last week new officers were installed The president is Evelyn Lukov- sky, and secretary-treasurer Mary Lou Boner. Both Badminton and Tennis clubs invite coeds to join their group. Practices are being conducted for the April 4th swim pageant which will present water patterns, aquatic skits and interpretations of the clasics. Also preparing for im pending spring public perform ances are the orchesis and pre orchesis classes. The total cast consists of 44 dancers, the entire production employing around 60 participants who will give the re cital for two nights, May 3rd and 4th. Survey Committee Okeys Fairbury College Expansion Recommendations by the uni versity survey committee for en largement of Fairbury Junior col lege have been approved by the board of education. A new gymnasium with aVieet ing capacity of 1,200, expanded li brary facilities, more adequate classrooms, additional shop facili ties and purchase of a lot ad joining the athletic field are rec ommended by the survey group. Committee Members. Dr. Merle A. Stoneman, assist ant director of the extension di vision, and Dr. William H. S. Norton, principal of the Teachers college high school were members of the committee. Fairbury junior college has been suspended since the war began, but will open with the fall term this year. A $285,000 bond issue to finance the college program will be submitted to Fairbury voters at the spring election. A modern fountain pen com pany is developing a formula for striped ink.
