During the war, 27,000,000 par cels were packed and shipped by the American Red Cross to prison ers of war in Europe and Asia. Now that hostilities have ceased, the Red Cross will fight the star vation in Europe and Asia by dis tributing foods and medical sup plies. During the war, 25,000,000 sup plementary articles were supplied to camps, hospitals and other Red Cross facilities. Now the Red Cross will fight boredom and unrest of the men still overseas by pro viding clubs, movie theatres, showmobiles and clubmobiles for relaxation. During the war 195,000 nurses' aides were trained by the Red Cross to serve in hospitals and -homes here. Now the Red Cross will fight disease and epidemics by continuing first aid classes and the Red Cross nursing service. There was no need for many of the services now offered by the Red Cross during the war, but now the returned veteran needs aid in filling out forms for claims and benefits. The Red Cross field director will aid him and appear for him before the Veterans Administration.
