The Cyclone thinclads have car ried off conference honors in the indoor competition for the last three years, and the meet Satur day will test the Husker chances of dethroning Coach George Bret nall's performers. Krats Faces Test. Features of the evening's pro gram will be the mile and 880 races. Dean Kratz, Sidney stand out, will try to take a double win in these events, facing Iowa State Ace Bill Aden in the mile, and going against Bob Jones in the half mile. Arlen was Big Six indoor mile king last winter, while Jones took 440 honors in the outdoor meet. Both Cyclone performers will be gunning for Kratz, and will 3tay out of earlier events to be pre pared for the smooth striding Husker. Nebraska stock took a rise this week, when big Ralph King, Waterloo hurdler, turned in his best time of the season in the high hurdles. The lanky timber-topper stepped off a nifty :07.8 perform ance, equalling the existing duel meet record. Records in Danger. Several other existing records are in danger, since the 440 mark is an even 53 seconds, and the half mile standard in 2:03, both within easy reach if the races are close. Dick Miller may crack the 13 feet 4 inch vault mark, for he cleared 13 feet 6 inches last week against Missouri. Bobby Ginn, brilliant Husker milcr, will not compete this week, but is expected to run in the Kansas duel meet on February 23, and should be in top shape for the FREE VARIETY SHOW Rosemary Lane and Patric Knowles "ALL BY MYSELF" 8:00 P. In their first meeting this year, the Kansas quintet broke loose in the second half to take a 56 to 45 win from the Nebraska team.
