Three University of Nebraska geography professors have been re-elected to editorial positions on national geographic magazines. They are: Dean Nels A. Beng Ston, contributing editor for the past 15 years to "Economic Geo graphy," E. E. Lackey, associate editor for ten years of the "Jour nal of Geography," official organ for the National Council of Geo graphy Teachers; and Leslie Howes, special assistant to the editor of the Annals of the As sociation of American Geograph ers. Dean Bongston was also re named chairman of the finance committee of the American As sociation of Geographers, com posed of men who have achieved national distinction in research work.
