The annual Kappa Sig barn dance was an event of Saturday night ... a big event especially for Gerald Morris and Alpha Xi Elaine Hecht. Sister Mary Armour again with Dick Stone . . . Gamma Phi Ann Doudna, back in the social whirl after discarding a Beta pin, with Bob Diers. Delts joined in the fun . . . Brothers Roy and War ren Van Norman turning to the key girls, Ginny Johnson and Mary Claire Clark, for a big time. Gordie Ehlers giving the big rush to DGeee pledge, Barb Dunn . . who'll be next in line? Pledges on the Beam. Boys of the Silo house outdid themselves with two parties . . . pledges taking over Friday night leaving town, while the actives pieced together the remains of the house. Gayle Lebsack and Sid McVicker taking fellow culprits, Alpha Phi Georgeanne Wythers and KAT Helen Howell along to lend to the excitement. Actives reciprocated Saturday night with a houseparty ... no theme . . . thanks to the pledges. Helen Ven num, Pi Phi, and Fran Edce. Kappa girl, with Joe Schultz and Dee Bourne didn't seem to mind though. This last combination bears watching. Hear the fire alarm episode caused quite a headache for the third floor. Miss Davis comes to UN from Olivet College in Michigan where she was a member of the music staff. Mr. Price, who studied at Juliard and Oberlin schools of music, has held teaching positions throughout the country. Mr. Har rison, head of the piano depart ment will join Miss Davis and Mr. Price in the famous Brahms "Trio " Mr. Lentz will also play among his selections, his own composition "Soliloquy." and AOPi Dolly Tracy ponders . . .
