Roy Long, former Cornhusker
back field star, is carrying the ball
again, but this time for the 71st
Infantry Division's Red Circle
team at Augsburg, Germany.
Playing halfback. Long is one
of the service team's leading
gainers this season. Undefeated so
far this year, the 71st is one of
the leading contenders for the
mythical ETO gridiron champion
ship. Long played on the varsity
team for the university in 1942
