During the coming months, the new Love Memorial library will be stocked with five or six thou sand books, to be shelved for the convenience of the student body la the reading rooms. Frank A. Lundy, university librarian, stat ed, "With the co-operation of the students, we will now develop the kind of library thtj want and teed. The new library has six spa Clous reading-rooms, each headed by a librarian who has been es pecially trained for the work, and whose first concern is to help the Student. The humanities reading room, which is on the north side Of the second floor, houses art and music literature, English, French, Rorman nnri other languages, and the classics, including philosophy, ! religion, journalism, and the dra- I matic arts. The social studies reading room (on the north side j of the third floor) will serve stu dents interested in economics and business history and geography, political and military science, so- ! ciology, psychology, and social 1 Work. j It is hoped that soon, the sci- i ence and technology reading room, on the east' side of the sec ond floor, and the education read ing room, on the east side of the third floor, will be opened, but tor the present, persons interested (a these subjects will be helped in the humanities and social sick les reading rooms, respectively. On the west side of the third floor, the documents reading room, houses the publications of governmental bodies, and the re serve reading room, which is on the east side of the ground floor, contains books needed for class assignments. The library opens at 7:50 a.m. Monday through Saturday, closes at 9 p. m. Monday through Thurs day, at 6 p. m. Friday and at 1 p. m. on Saturday. Students are asked not to hesitate to ask for help, and their suggestions and comments will be most welcomed, according to Mr. Lundy. NOTICE. Tennis racktti for players participating: in the intra mural tennis singles tourna ment are available in the race at the coliseum for players who do not have racket.
