Handball And
Table Tennis
Table tennis and handball tour
neys are featuring the ticket in
intra-mural play this week with
most teams going into action. All
contests are being played at the
convenience of the teams con
cerned and for this n season, no
definite schedule or results can
be published.
All teams entered in the first
round must have played their
games and reported the results to
intramural head, Gordon Ehlcrs
on or before November 30 or they
will be disregarded in second
round pairings. This being done
as all handball and table tennis
activity must be completed before
Christmas vacation.
Houses and groups interested in
the basketball phase of intramural
championships should .begin or
ganizing their teams in the very
near future. This is imperative'
for the tournament will begin im
mediately upon resumption of
school after Christmas vacation.
Any teams who were not entered
in other phases of competition but
are looking forward to the basket
ball season, should signify their
intention by reporting to Ehlers
as soon as possible.
Rules and pairings of the hand
ball and table tennis tournaments
are as follows:
Table tennis rules:
1. All games must be played
between Nov. 20 and Nov. 30. .
Z. Five men will represent
each noose in singles matches.
3. The team winning 3 oat of
matcnes win be the victor in
each pairing.
4. Games may be played at
any place desirable to the par
ticipating teams. The Student
Union will facilitate a nnmber of
the matches.
5. All results must be reported
to Gordon Ehlers at the A TO
house not later than Nov. 30.
Information concerning the
handball tournament:
1. AH games must be played
between Nov. 20 and 30.
2. Each house will be repre
sented by three men.
3. Team winning two ont of
thre singles matches will be
victor in each pairing.
4. Gloves and handballs can
be checked out from the cage in
the coliseum any afternoon be
tween 2 and 4 o'clock in the
afternoon.
5. All results must be turned
