Pity the UN Male, He Hasn't a Chance I'ity the-poor Nebraska male! Plagued with all sorts of rumors concern ing his possible activation in the army; haunted by the possibility that air crew men recently moved to the library will steal his girl; weakened by the food rationing program now the worse has come: all social functions for the week-end are being called off. The poor guy hasn't a chance. He can't oven spend his last semester at the university in comfort and' enjoyment. All he docs is worry, and now they do this to him. The war and the army and school are sources of much of his grief, but it is the women, the UN cped, who is the chief cause of his woe. All thru the year she keeps vm on the jump by talking about her other boy-friend, by asking him to mail her letters to that fel low in the army, by toying with his affectoins, by doing those things that girls do that re sult in the premature growth of gray of the hair. But wicked as she lias been in the past, never has she stabbed him in the back like she did this week. Because of her, he won't be jitterbugging at an hour dance; he won't be laughing at a house party; he won't even be picnicing at a picnic. Why? Orr Addresses Nu-Med Group; Theta Nus Tap Dr. Winnett Orr, noted Lincoln orthopedic Surgeon, will address the April meeting of Nu-Meds, pre-medical organization, today at 6:30 p. m. in parlors X, Y, and Z of the Union. New members of Theta Nu, hon orary pre-medical fraternity, will be tapped tonight during the meet ing, and nominations for next se mester officers will be made.
