Los ing 12 good hockey players via the armed services and graduation is enough to play hob with any squad, and yet, Coach Larry Arm strong can say that he sees "good possibilities" in his big, but green Minnesota hockey team. "The boys are not as fast nor as experienced as last year's men but they are pretty heavy and they ought to come right along especially after a couple of games," says Armstrong. Lose Vets. Among the men lost from last year's squad are Capt. Al Eggle ton, Freddy Junger, Bobby Arnold, Burt Joseph and John Teterson. Iowa State's inexperienced basketball team will meet the first of its veteran foes in Big Six play in the Kansas State five here Saturday night. The game will be the opener of a doubleheader which will include a contest between the Cyclone freshmen and the Iowa State Navy Typhoons. Five Vets.
