The truth will out, even when
one of the cagiest operators in the
history of UN is doing the work.
For the saga of Shirley Heldt, Al
pha Phi, and her two SAE's has
run its course and the story must
be told.
Tuesday night Shirley , brought
out into the open Dick Reinhardt's
Sig Alph pin despite her vehement
denial that she had it Sunday night
on her date with Millard Cluck.
Twas all to no avail, however,
since Cluck knew about it all the
time; for the whole pin-hanging
was a conspiracy between the two
brothers in order to confirm their
suspicions as to the duplication be
tween the lines Shirley had been
handing both of them one night
after another.
They feel their purpose has been
fulfilled now and last night Dick
took back his pin and Millard a
few knickknacks, the results of
two years devotion. They com
pared notes, put Shirley to the
acid test, tripped her up, and now
are saying "we learned about
women from one."
She Did the Honors.
If you care about any minor
items after that, here are a few. . .

now, or the Presbyterian students
have compiled and edited a book of
recipes .which are really in a class
by thjeroselves. .
The book called "Quickest Way
to His Heart" is a collection of
more than two hundred different
and unusual ways to prepare food.
Martha Ann Pickering was in
charge of the committee which
gathered the recipes, which by
the way have all been given the
taste test and approved. Richard
Hollabaugh designed and made the
stencils for the cover and Bob
Henry served as make-up" editor.
The supply of books are lim

M. Henry, student pastor, they
have been selling quite rapidly.
Copies of the book may be ob

center.
A part of the proceeds from
the book will go to the W. S. S. F.

parents' attention to the fact that
they, the parents, are supposed to
register students who are under
the age limit.
If a student cannot notify his
parents within the remaining
time, it would be best for him to
apply for his own ration book. In
case a student is registered both
at home and here at school, one
of the ration books can be re
turned to the rationing board in
the city or town where he resides.
Students under 18 years of age
who are part of no family unit or
are self-supporting should register
for themselves, as should married
